Choosing pickleball nets & court gear comes down to a practical tradeoff: do you want a compact practice setup, or a regulation-size net for a more complete court layout? Athletic Works focuses on half-court practice and portability, while Dulce Dom is aimed at standard-size outdoor play. The useful shortcut is to match the net format to how you actually plan to play, then weigh condition and price.
Quick verdict
Athletic Works is the better match for half-court practice, casual games, and carrying equipment between locations. Dulce Dom is the better match for a regulation-size playing area. Both describe portable setups that assemble without tools, so neither has a clear setup advantage here. The deciding factors are playing format, condition, and the amount you want to spend.

Where each product wins
Athletic Works wins for practice portability
Athletic Works wins when the goal is repeatable drills or casual play rather than laying out a regulation-size court. The carry bag suits moving the setup among a backyard, driveway, indoor gym, or park, and the product is positioned for practice, training drills, and recreational games. The $38.71 price spread makes the format tradeoff easy to quantify against Dulce Dom. Choose Athletic Works when the half-court concept and mobile storage are more useful than full-width play.
Dulce Dom wins for regulation dimensions
Dulce Dom is the more suitable choice when standard-size dimensions are central. At 22 feet wide, with a 36-inch side height and 34-inch center height, it meets the stated official pickleball size regulation. That gives the net a clear purpose for a regulation-layout setup rather than a half-court practice arrangement. Its portable outdoor format and five-minute, no-tools assembly also keep the larger playing area practical to set up.
Product notes
Athletic Works 10ft Half-Court Portable Net
The Athletic Works setup is easy to place in the practice-first lane. Its steel frame, nylon net, and included carry bag are concrete reasons to choose it for drills, casual games, or moving equipment between locations. Its quick, tool-free assembly supports the same grab-and-go role. The limitation is the format: the title specifies a 10ft half-court net, not a regulation-width layout. That makes it a less direct fit for shoppers whose main goal is standard-size play. For backyard, driveway, indoor-gym, or park practice, though, the compact focus and carry bag match the intended use closely.
Dulce Dom Portable Pickleball Net System
Dulce Dom is the more suitable pick when standard-size dimensions are central. At 22 feet wide, with a 36-inch side height and 34-inch center height, it meets official pickleball size regulation. Those measurements give the net a clear purpose for a regulation-layout setup rather than a half-court practice arrangement. Assembly takes five minutes without tools, keeping the portable outdoor format practical. The limitation is condition: it is used and may have minor cosmetic marks. Choose Dulce Dom when regulation dimensions carry more weight than new condition or a lower-priced compact alternative.
Final choice by use case
Choose Athletic Works for backyard or driveway practice, indoor-gym drills, park sessions, or casual games where a compact practice setup fits. The steel frame, nylon net, and carry bag reinforce that portable role.
Choose Dulce Dom for a regulation-size outdoor setup where official dimensions match the way you plan to play and used condition is acceptable. In short, Athletic Works resolves the compact-practice decision; Dulce Dom resolves the standard-layout decision. Both describe tool-free assembly, so the deciding difference is court format rather than setup complexity.
