Choosing a disc golf bag comes down to one practical tension: do you want a backpack for carrying discs and gear, or a fuller setup with a built-in seat and cooler storage? The four choices here span a $42 bag-and-disc bundle, two $49.99 backpacks, and a feature-heavy Red Rocks setup. Capacity, included discs, condition, and carry extras separate them more clearly than the basic bag category does.
Quick take
The FLY GREEN Red Rocks FG 1 is the choice for players who specifically want a built-in stool, coolers, and a Bluetooth speaker. The Hyzer Peaks and Numbskull backpacks share a similar carry layout, including two drink holders, five zippered compartments, water-resistant 600/PU material, and a waterproof base. Their practical distinction is the stated capacity wording and color. Golfmate takes a different approach by pairing a used bag with six discs, making it the straightforward starting package.
Listed-price comparison
The price spread is $157.99 from the least expensive entry to the most expensive one. The two FLY GREEN backpack styles sit at the same listed price, while the Red Rocks setup occupies a separate price tier.

Decision matrix
- For a seat and cooler setup: Choose the Red Rocks FG 1 for its built-in stool, coolers, speaker, and rain fly.
- For a backpack with a 25-disc capacity: Hyzer Peaks uses that exact capacity phrase and adds two drink holders plus five zippered compartments.
- For black-and-white styling and 20-25-disc wording: Numbskull combines those specific details with the same general backpack feature set as Hyzer Peaks.
- For a bag bundled with discs: Golfmate includes three regular discs and three putting discs with the bag.
Product notes
FLY GREEN PERFORMANCE RED ROCKS RED FG 1 DISC GOLF BACKPACK BAG - COOLERS, STOOL
At $199.99, the Red Rocks FG 1 fits a round where a seat and refreshments are part of the carry plan. Its built-in stool is rated to hold up to 300 pounds, while the description adds two side 3-pack coolers, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, a zippered rain fly, and 600/PU water-resistant material. Compartments cover cans or bottles, clothing, pens, and scorecards. The concrete limitation is its $199.99 price, the highest amount among the four choices. Choose it when the stool and cooler features are central to the outing rather than incidental extras.
FLY GREEN DISC GOLF BACKPACK BAG HYZER PEAKS w/ 2 DRINK HOLDERS HOLDS 25 DISCS
Hyzer Peaks suits players who want a backpack with a stated 25-disc capacity and two drink holders. Its 600/PU material is described as water resistant, with a waterproof base, soft shoulder straps, elastic side straps for a retriever or umbrella, and five zippered storage compartments for discs, gear, snacks, and minis. The orange-and-blue color is a specific visual distinction. The limitation is also clear: the description says the bag does not glow in the dark. At $49.99, it keeps the focus on backpack storage and carry features rather than the stool-and-cooler configuration of the Red Rocks FG 1.
FLY GREEN DISC GOLF BACKPACK NUMBSKULL w/ 2 DRINK HOLDERS HOLDS 20-25 DISCS
Numbskull uses the same $49.99 price as Hyzer Peaks and shares its two drink holders, 600/PU water-resistant material, waterproof base, elastic accessory straps, and five zippered compartments. Its stated capacity is 20-25 discs, giving shoppers a different capacity description to weigh against the single 25-disc figure in the Hyzer Peaks title. Black plus white is the distinguishing color callout. The description also says the bag does not glow in the dark, which is a concrete limitation for anyone prioritizing that feature. Pick Numbskull when its color and 20-25-disc wording align with the way you organize a round.
Golfmate Disc Golf Bag Plus 6 Disc Lot
Golfmate takes the simplest bundled route: the $42.00 package contains a bag, three regular discs, and three putting discs. The bag also has a drink holder and other compartments, giving a new player a direct way to begin with both carrying gear and discs included. Its limitation is condition. The bag is used and needs a bit more cleaning, while the discs have wear on their edges. The burgundy color is the specified finish. Choose Golfmate for the six-disc package; it is less suited to shoppers specifically seeking a new backpack with the expanded carry features described for the FLY GREEN bags.
Final recommendation by use case
- Built-in seating and refreshments: FLY GREEN Red Rocks FG 1, because the stool, coolers, speaker, and rain fly are all part of the described setup.
- Backpack carrying with a 25-disc statement: FLY GREEN Hyzer Peaks, with two drink holders and five zippered storage compartments.
- Black-and-white backpack with 20-25-disc wording: FLY GREEN Numbskull, using the same core carry features as Hyzer Peaks.
- Six discs included with the bag: Golfmate Disc Golf Bag Plus 6 Disc Lot, provided the used condition and disc-edge wear fit your expectations.
The clearest choice is therefore feature-led: Red Rocks FG 1 for the stool setup, Hyzer Peaks or Numbskull for backpack carry, and Golfmate for the bundled start.
