Choosing among disc golf bags & carts is really a carry decision: compact shoulder storage, a backpack for a full round, or a larger setup with room for drinks and extras. The four choices below make that tradeoff easier to see by separating format, capacity, storage features, and listed price. If you only need essentials, start with the shoulder bag; if you carry a broader mix of discs and accessories, compare the backpack formats first.
Quick take
Start with the carry format: a shoulder bag keeps the decision centered on essentials, while a backpack suits a broader load. From there, compare capacity and storage features rather than choosing by price alone. The four bags separate into a compact Cell and three backpack approaches: the Trooper, FLY GREEN, and Voyager Lite.
Listed price comparison
The listed prices range from $19.95 to $89.95. The absolute difference between the lowest and highest prices is $70.00.

Product notes
Axiom Voyager Lite Backpack
Axiom Voyager Lite is the choice for a midsize backpack with a listed 22-disc capacity. Its reengineered design is 25% lighter than previous Voyager models while retaining storage space, giving shoppers a concrete reason to favor it when carry weight is part of the decision. The limitation is equally concrete: discs, bottles, and other pictured accessories are not included. The Blue/Grey color and Voyager Lite model make the bag easy to distinguish from the other backpacks here. At $89.95, it also sits at the top of the listed range, so its lighter-design emphasis needs to matter more than keeping the initial price lower.
Dynamic Discs Trooper Backpack
Dynamic Discs Trooper is a backpack built around organized carry. It has a listed 22-disc maximum, with 18 or more discs fitting in the main compartment and an upper compartment for additional discs or clothing. Three additional pockets, a drawstring-enclosed water bottle holder, valuables pockets, padded straps, and a padded back panel give it useful places for round-day gear. The limitation is that the 22-disc figure is not described as all-main-compartment capacity, so packing layout matters if every disc needs to sit in one section. Choose the Trooper when several pockets and padded carry features matter more than a minimalist setup.
FLY GREEN Disc Golf Backpack
FLY GREEN's disc golf backpack combines a listed capacity of up to 25 discs with two drink holders, making it a fit for rounds where beverages and extra gear share the load. Five zippered storage compartments are designated for discs, gear, snacks, and minis. The bag also has water-resistant 600/PU material, a waterproof durable base, soft shoulder straps, and elastic side straps for retrievers or umbrellas. Its limitation is unusually specific: the bag does not glow in the dark. The Orange and Blue color is the listed finish. Choose FLY GREEN when its drink-holder setup and broader compartment layout match your packing style.
MVP Cell Shoulder Bag
MVP Cell keeps the carry focused on essentials in a shoulder-bag format. It holds up to 12 discs, with 6 to 10 in the main compartment, two more in a putter sleeve, and personal items in an inner mesh pocket. The material is described as more abrasion resistant and water resistant, adding a practical construction detail without turning the bag into a full backpack setup. Its limitation is capacity: the listed maximum is smaller than the backpack choices, leaving less room for a wide disc selection. At $19.95, the Cell is the lowest-priced choice here. Pick it when compact shoulder carry is the priority and the added structure of a backpack would be unnecessary.
Final recommendation by use case
- For the smallest listed price: choose the MVP Cell Shoulder Bag at $19.95.
- For a backpack at $39.99: choose the Dynamic Discs Trooper Backpack.
- For a backpack at $49.99: choose the FLY GREEN Disc Golf Backpack.
- For the Voyager Lite backpack at $89.95: choose Axiom's model when its lighter midsize design is the deciding factor.
The practical dividing line is shoulder bag versus backpack. The MVP Cell keeps the carry focused and compact, while the three backpack choices spread the decision across organization, drink storage, and the Voyager Lite design. Use the $70.00 price difference between the Cell and Voyager Lite as context, then let your usual disc and accessory load determine the fit.
