Choosing disc golf bags & carts is really a question of what your round demands: a shoulder carry for essentials, a backpack for a larger disc load, or a setup with built-in course comforts. The useful shortcut is to match the listed capacity and extras before comparing price. The four choices here span USD 19.95 to USD 199.99, so the main tradeoff is straightforward: more specialized equipment versus a simpler way to carry discs and personal items.
Quick take
MVP Discs Cell is the straightforward shoulder-bag route and the lowest-priced choice. Hyzer Peaks and Numbskull are backpack designs for players who want more disc room and organized storage. Red Rocks FG 1 is the choice when built-in course comforts matter. Hyzer Peaks and Numbskull share a listed middle price, while Red Rocks FG 1 sits at the high end of the range. Start with carry style, then narrow the choice by disc capacity and the extras you will actually use.

Product notes
FLY GREEN PERFORMANCE RED ROCKS RED FG 1 DISC GOLF BACKPACK BAG - COOLERS, STOOL
The FLY GREEN Red Rocks FG 1 is for rounds where the bag needs to handle more than disc storage. Its listed extras include two side 3-pack coolers, a built-in stool rated to 300 pounds, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, a zippered rain fly and pocket, and storage for clothing, snacks, gear, pens, and scorecards. The 600/PU material is described as water resistant, and the bag is listed in Red. The tradeoff is straightforward: Red Rocks FG 1 carries the highest listed price in this comparison. Choose it when those built-in comforts are central to the outing; a simpler carry setup makes more sense when they are not.
FLY GREEN DISC GOLF BACKPACK BAG HYZER PEAKS w/ 2 DRINK HOLDERS HOLDS 25 DISCS
FLY GREEN Hyzer Peaks centers the backpack format around drink access and separated storage. The description adds two drink holders, five zippered storage compartments, a waterproof and durable base, water-resistant 600/PU material, soft shoulder straps, a Velcro side for patches, and elastic side straps for a retriever or umbrella. That combination suits a player who wants organized gear carry alongside disc storage. The clear limitation is also stated: the bag does not glow in the dark. Its listed color is Orange and Blue, so the design choice is specific rather than neutral. Choose Hyzer Peaks when its drink-holder and compartment layout fit the way you carry course gear.
FLY GREEN DISC GOLF BACKPACK NUMBSKULL w/ 2 DRINK HOLDERS HOLDS 20-25 DISCS
FLY GREEN Numbskull pairs a backpack structure with two drink holders and a listed 20-25-disc range. The water-resistant 600/PU material, waterproof and durable base, soft shoulder straps, and elastic side straps for a retriever or umbrella give it a gear-focused layout. Five zippered compartments are described for discs, gear, snacks, and minis, with a Velcro side for patches. The limitation is explicit rather than inferred: Numbskull does not glow in the dark. Its listed color is Black + White, making the named design the deciding distinction beside the shared backpack features. Choose it for that stated range and color pairing.
MVP Discs Disc Golf Shoulder Bag - Cell - Holds 12 Discs - Choose Color
MVP Discs Cell is the direct fit when you want a shoulder bag for essentials rather than a backpack-style carry. The main compartment is described as holding 6 to 10 discs, with room for two more in the putter sleeve and personal items in an inner mesh pocket; the listed maximum is 12 discs. Its material is described as more abrasion resistant and water resistant, giving the bag a clear reason to choose for straightforward course carry. The limitation is capacity: the 12-disc maximum does not fit the 20-25-disc target attached to Numbskull or the 25-disc target attached to Hyzer Peaks. The listed color is Aqua.
Final recommendation by use case
- Lowest listed price and shoulder carry: choose MVP Discs Cell.
- A backpack centered on the 25-disc title capacity: choose FLY GREEN Hyzer Peaks.
- The Numbskull design in Black + White: choose FLY GREEN Numbskull.
- A cooler-and-stool setup: choose FLY GREEN Red Rocks FG 1, accepting the comparison's highest listed price.
The practical split is clear: Cell keeps the carry focused, the two mid-priced FLY GREEN backpacks emphasize disc storage and organized gear, and Red Rocks FG 1 adds the most built-in outing equipment. If price is the first filter, start with MVP Cell; if course comforts are the first filter, start with Red Rocks FG 1.
