Choosing dive computers & instruments is less about picking one familiar name and more about matching the instrument to the way you dive. Do you want wireless tank-pressure information and a compass, a simple multi-gas layout, a specific case and phone compatibility, or a lower listed price? Condition also changes the decision: three entries are used, while the Peregrine is new.
Quick take
The four listed prices span USD 174.99. Start with function rather than brand: the Suunto Eon Core explicitly names a transmitter and USB; the Teric brings a 55mm case and Android compatibility; the Peregrine focuses on simple navigation; and the Perdix is the Original OG wrist-computer choice. If the purchase needs to stay at the low end of the range, Suunto is the relevant name to compare first. If the deciding detail is a model format, the Teric and Perdix provide clear title-level anchors: 55mm for the Teric and Original OG for the Perdix.

Product notes
Shearwater Perdix Wrist Dive Computer - Black Original OG
The strongest reason to choose the Shearwater Perdix is the Original OG model in a wrist-computer format, especially for a buyer who wants a no-air-integration setup. Its limitation is condition: it is used, the housing has scratches, and the screen protector shows scratches. The description also flags broken buckle arms, no box, and the computer as the included item, although blue bungees may be included. That makes the Perdix a focused pick for someone comfortable sorting out straps and cosmetic wear rather than seeking a complete boxed package. At USD 500, it sits in the middle of the four-price spread.
Shearwater Teric Dive Computer Black 55mm
The Teric is the clearest match for shoppers who want the named 55mm case and Android compatibility. Its silicone band is another concrete specification, giving the computer a clearly defined physical setup. The limitation is the used condition, and the 55mm case size may not align with a shopper seeking a different case size. That makes the Teric more about selecting a particular model specification than minimizing the listed price. At USD 624.99, it is the highest-priced entry here, so the case-size and operating-system details should be genuine priorities before choosing it.
Suunto Eon Core Wrist Dive Computer - White with Transmitter And USB
The Suunto Eon Core earns attention for its clear color display with large digits, which speaks directly to readability during scuba sessions. The title identifies a white wrist computer with a transmitter and USB, while its description adds wireless tank pressure, a digital compass, a rechargeable battery, and a wireless mobile connection. The limitation is the used condition, along with the white finish named in the title; shoppers who want a different appearance may prefer another entry. At USD 450, it is the lowest-priced computer in this comparison, making it a direct fit when its named functions matter at the bottom of the listed price range.
Shearwater Research Peregrine Dive Computer
The Peregrine is a natural fit for a buyer drawn to a new-condition Shearwater Research computer with a simple, full-colour interface. Its description gives four modes-Air, Nitrox, 3 Gas Nitrox, and Gauge-and identifies a 5.59cm LCD screen. The limitation is the USD 580 price, which is USD 130 above the lowest listed price. The straightforward layout gives the Peregrine a clear place in the comparison for divers who want defined recreational and multi-gas modes without making the case size or an accessory bundle the central decision. Choose it when the new condition and stated interface matter more than minimizing price.
Final recommendation by use case
- Rechargeable computer with wireless mobile connection: Choose the Suunto Eon Core for those two named capabilities and its clear, large-digit display.
- A named accessory bundle: Choose the Shearwater Teric for the charger, case, documents, and carabiner identified with the computer.
- Four clearly defined diving modes: Choose the Shearwater Research Peregrine for its Air, Nitrox, 3 Gas Nitrox, and Gauge modes.
- A no-air-integration Perdix: Choose the Shearwater Perdix when the Original OG model and that configuration are the target, provided the used condition and buckle work are acceptable.
