Quick take
Choosing dive computers & instruments means balancing the dive modes you want, the way you want to read and manage information, and how much you want to spend. The useful question is whether your priority is the lowest listed price, a clearly named mode set, an Adventures Edition wrist computer, or a Teric-specific package. These four choices separate those paths without making price alone decide the fit.
Suunto D5 is the price-first route; the two Peregrine entries need a closer look at their different emphasis; and Teric is a used, higher-priced model with distinct package details. Start with the decision matrix, then read the matching product note for the tradeoff that matters most.

Product notes
Shearwater Research Peregrine Adventures Edition Dive Computer
Shearwater Research Peregrine Adventures Edition Dive Computer is a sensible match for a diver who wants a wrist-worn computer with decompression calculations and dive profiling. The Adventures Edition wording gives it a clear identity among the two Peregrine entries, while its scuba-and-snorkeling focus suits a mixed-use plan. At USD 499.99, the limitation is price: it sits above the Suunto D5 route, so it is not the choice for the lowest listed spend. Pick this edition when the Adventures title, wrist format, and profiling emphasis matter more than taking the price-first path.
Shearwater Research Peregrine Dive Computer
The Shearwater Research Peregrine Dive Computer is the mode-focused choice. It lists Air, Nitrox up to 40% O2, 3 Gas Nitrox up to 100% O2, and Gauge, plus a full-colour 5.59 cm LCD. Its simple, intuitive layout is another concrete reason to choose it when a clearly described control scheme matters. The limitation is the USD 580.00 price, which is higher than the Adventures Edition and Suunto D5. Choose it when the named mode set and colour screen justify moving beyond the lower-priced routes; choose the Adventures Edition instead if its profiling emphasis is the closer match.
Shearwater Teric Dive Computer Black 55mm
Shearwater Teric Dive Computer Black 55mm is for shoppers who want the Teric model specifically, along with a 55mm case, silicone band, and a package that includes a genuine charger, case, documents, and carabiner. It is also identified as a dive computer with multi-gas decompression. The key limitation is condition: it is marked used, while the Peregrine and Suunto entries are marked new. At USD 624.99, it also has the highest listed price here. Choose Teric when the named package and case size are the priority; the used condition and price make it a less direct fit for shoppers centered on new condition or the lowest spend.
Suunto D5 All Black Dive Computer with Wireless Connectivity
Suunto D5 All Black Dive Computer with Wireless Connectivity is the price-and-connectivity route. The title names wireless connectivity, the Suunto D5 model, and the SS050192000 identifier; the computer is also marked new and unused in box. That makes it a concrete choice for a diver who wants those attributes at USD 330.00. Its limitation is the tradeoff in emphasis: selecting D5 prioritizes the wireless and tracking language over the Shearwater Research Peregrine Dive Computer's explicitly named mode list. Choose it when the lowest listed price and wireless phrase lead the decision, rather than when the Peregrine modes are the main filter.
Final recommendation by use case
- Price-first buying: Choose the Suunto D5 All Black Dive Computer with Wireless Connectivity.
- Adventures Edition preference: Choose Shearwater Research Peregrine Adventures Edition Dive Computer.
- Mode-focused Peregrine shopping: Choose Shearwater Research Peregrine Dive Computer.
- Teric-specific package shopping: Choose Shearwater Teric Dive Computer Black 55mm.
Use the price table to set the initial shortlist, then let the named product emphasis and condition settle the final choice. The two Peregrine options call for the closest comparison, while Suunto D5 and Teric make the clearest price-first and package-first decisions.
