Choosing among dive computers & instruments starts with a practical question: do you want a wrist-mounted computer, a transmitter-based pressure view, or an air-integrated console? The answer affects how you read dive information and which compromises are acceptable. These four choices separate those paths by format, condition, included gear, and listed price. Start with setup, then use condition and price to break close calls.
Quick take

Product notes
Shearwater Perdix Wrist Dive Computer
The Shearwater Perdix is the clearest match for a wrist setup explicitly without air integration. Its Gen 1 identity and Perdix model name make the choice specific for someone who wants that configuration. The limitation is physical condition: it is used, the housing has scratches, the screen protector is scratched, and one arm of the male-end buckle is broken. The package has the computer and no box, so strap hardware is part of the buying decision. At USD 500.00, it sits above EON Core and Cobra in the price table. Choose it when the no-air-integration setup matters more than cosmetic condition or ready-to-use buckle hardware.
Shearwater Teric Dive Computer Black 55mm
The Shearwater Teric suits a buyer drawn to its multi-gas decompression description and named 55mm wrist format. Its limitation is price and condition: it is used and costs USD 624.99, the highest listed amount in this comparison. That matters if you are prioritizing a lower listed price over the Teric's specific format. The silicone band is another defined detail, while the package includes a genuine charger, case, documents, and carabiner. Pick Teric when multi-gas capability is the deciding detail; choose a different setup if a console rather than a wrist computer is the better fit.
Suunto EON Core Wrist Dive Computer
Suunto EON Core stands out for its readable wrist presentation: a clear color display with large digits. The description adds wireless tank pressure, a digital compass, wireless mobile connection, rechargeable battery, updatable software, and customizable settings. Its limitation is condition: the unit is used. The transmitter and USB named with EON Core make those included pieces central to the choice, while the display gives the computer a clear day-to-day focus. Choose it when the color display and pressure-reading setup matter more than selecting a simpler instrument package.
Suunto Cobra Dive Computer
Suunto Cobra is a direct match for a diver who wants RGBM and Nitrox in a console format. It includes an extra battery, and the description names Air, Nitrox, and Gauge modes, plus a bright electroluminescent backlight and audible alarms. Those details make the selection specific rather than generic. Its limitation is format: Cobra is a console rather than a wrist computer. It is new and priced at USD 200.00, the lowest listed amount here. Choose it when Nitrox support and console readability matter more than wrist mounting.
Final recommendation by use case
- For a wrist computer explicitly without air integration: choose the Shearwater Perdix if scratches and buckle work are acceptable.
- For multi-gas decompression: choose the Shearwater Teric when that capability is the deciding detail.
- For a transmitter and USB paired with a color wrist display: choose the Suunto EON Core.
- For an air-integrated setup: choose the Suunto Cobra.
The price table makes the budget split clear, but format should come first. Wrist versus console narrows the field quickly; after that, decide whether air data, multi-gas functions, display style, or included equipment matters most.
