Choosing dive computers & instruments is really a setup decision: do you want a console with air integration, a wrist computer with a transmitter, or a computer centered on multi-gas and decompression controls? The four choices below split along those lines, while New versus Used and the listed prices create a second filter. Match the instrument to your planned diving first; use price to break a close call.
Quick take
- Deep 6 Excursion: the technical-diving choice, with recreational and technical scope plus extensive computer controls.

- Suunto Cobra Air-Integrated Console New in Box: the new console route for shoppers who want air integration.
- Suunto Eon Core Wrist Dive Computer: the wrist-oriented choice with a transmitter and wireless pressure features.

Decision matrix
- Condition first: Deep 6 Excursion and the new-in-box Suunto Cobra are marked New. The compass Cobra is Used and Untested, while Eon Core is Used.
- Console versus wrist: Both Cobra choices are explicitly console units. Eon Core is explicitly a wrist computer. Deep 6 Excursion emphasizes recreational and technical diving rather than a wearing format.
- Computer controls: Deep 6 Excursion lists multi-gas Nitrox, Helitrox, user-settable gradient factors, and several dive modes. The new Cobra lists Nitrox compatibility and no-decompression-limit tracking.
- Pressure and navigation: The untested Cobra combines air integration and a compass. Eon Core combines wireless tank pressure with a digital compass.
Product notes
Deep 6 Excursion
Deep 6 Excursion is the fit for a diver who wants the computer itself to cover recreational and technical use. Its feature set includes multi-gas Nitrox from 20% to 99% across four gases, Helitrox capability up to 22% helium, user-settable gradient factors, and scuba, planning, apnea/free-diving, and gauge modes. Bluetooth supports logging and updates, and the condition is New. The limitation is cost relative to the nearest new console alternative: its $199 price is slightly above the new-in-box Suunto Cobra. Choose it for gas and decompression customization; the decision is less compelling if those controls extend beyond your planned use.
Suunto Cobra Air Integrated Compass Console Untested
At $119.95, Suunto Cobra Air Integrated Scuba Dive Computer Compass Console w/ Case Untested combines air integration, a compass, a console, and a case. That combination gives it a clear role for a shopper who wants navigation and air information in one console-style unit. Its limitation is equally clear: the condition is marked Used and Untested. The lower price therefore comes with uncertainty that matters when choosing dive equipment. It suits an experienced diver comfortable with that condition and the included case; shoppers who want a new purchase should move to the new-in-box Cobra or Deep 6 Excursion instead.
Suunto Cobra Air-Integrated Console New in Box
Suunto Cobra Air-Integrated Scuba Dive Computer - NEW in Box - Console is a console choice for someone who wants a new unit with air integration. It tracks tank pressure, depth, time, and no-decompression limits, along with Nitrox compatibility, audible and visual alarms, a user-replaceable battery, and a large display. Its $195.49 price sits close to Deep 6 Excursion while remaining higher than the Used and Untested Cobra with compass. The limitation is format: the title identifies a console, not a wrist computer. Choose it when new condition and console-based air integration matter more than wrist wearability or technical controls.
Suunto Eon Core Wrist Dive Computer
Suunto Eon Core Wrist Dive Computer - White with Transmitter And USB is a match for a wrist setup with wireless tank pressure. Its feature set adds a color display with large digits, a digital compass, rechargeable battery, software updates, customizable settings, and wireless mobile connection. The transmitter and USB are also specified in the title. The trade-off is both price and condition: at $450, it is the highest-priced choice here and is marked Used. Select it when wrist wearability, wireless pressure, and a compass are central requirements. If a console format works, either Cobra entry offers a different setup at a lower listed price.
Final recommendation by use case
- Recreational and technical diving: choose Deep 6 Excursion for its stated dual-use scope and technical controls.
- A new console: choose Suunto Cobra Air-Integrated Scuba Dive Computer - NEW in Box - Console.
- A compass console at the lowest listed amount: choose Suunto Cobra Air Integrated Scuba Dive Computer Compass Console w/ Case Untested, provided Used and Untested condition is acceptable.
- A wrist setup: choose Suunto Eon Core Wrist Dive Computer - White with Transmitter And USB for the explicitly named wrist format and transmitter.
