Choosing golf balls is really a choice between playing characteristics and practice setting: a standard ball aimed at distance, a yellow model with a particular feel, or a hollow plastic ball for a smaller space. The four choices here cover those jobs, but their titles and listed prices point in different directions. Start with the job you need the balls to do, then use the concrete attributes and price spread to narrow the field.
Quick take
The useful split is format first: standard balls for a conventional golf purchase versus hollow plastic airflow balls for practice. Within the standard-ball choices, the meaningful tie-breakers are distance language, yellow visibility, named model details, and an alignment aid. P4 belongs to a different training use case, so it should be considered separately from the balls intended for play.
Listed-price comparison

Product notes
Soft Low-Compression Long-Distance Golf Balls
If the goal is a standard ball oriented around distance, Soft Low-Compression Long-Distance Golf Balls are the direct match. The name pairs low compression with long distance, and the feature wording also names Distance. The soft feel gives the choice a comfort-oriented angle for regular play. The trade-off is the $55.99 listed price, the highest in this comparison. That makes it a focused purchase for someone prioritizing the distance-and-feel wording rather than the hollow plastic practice design. The feature set also includes a two-year manufacturer warranty, adding a concrete support detail without changing the main buying decision.
TaylorMade Soft Feel Yellow Golf Balls
Yellow color, high visibility, the PWRCORE name, and the TaylorMade Soft Feel model give this choice a clear identity for shoppers who want a named ball that is easy to distinguish. The $22.95 price sits between the practice format and the two more expensive entries. Its one-dozen format is the main limitation: it is a defined, focused quantity rather than a broad supply for repeated practice sessions. Pick it for the color and model cues; the one-dozen format keeps its role specific. It is a straightforward choice when a yellow Soft Feel model matters more than alignment features or plastic practice construction.
Soft Yellow 2-Piece Golf Balls with Alignment Aid
The yellow 2-piece construction, ionomer material, and side-stamp alignment aid make Soft Golf Balls for Beginners & Pros a direct fit for someone who wants a visible putting reference. Its play profile combines distance, straight flight, short-game control, and putting accuracy, while the title addresses both beginners and pros. At $44.99, it is $22.04 above the TaylorMade Soft Feel entry. The constraint is that no components are included, so the purchase centers on the balls rather than an accessory bundle. Choose it when alignment and a yellow 2-piece format are central to the decision.
Airflow Hollow Plastic Practice Golf Balls
For backyard, park, or small-space training, Airflow Hollow Plastic Practice Golf Balls are the direct match. The hollow plastic construction, airflow design, 26 holes, and mixed colors distinguish the practice format, while its flight is about one-third that of a standard ball. At $13.91, it is the lowest-priced entry here. Its defining limitation is also its purpose: limited distance and plastic construction make these practice balls rather than a conventional choice for a regular round. The kid-and-adult age-range wording also makes the format suitable for a broad practice audience.
Final recommendation by use case
Use the soft low-compression long-distance entry when distance-led standard play is the priority. Select TaylorMade Soft Feel Yellow Golf Balls when a named yellow model is the deciding point. Choose Soft Yellow 2-Piece Golf Balls with Alignment Aid for a yellow ball with a putting reference. Reserve Airflow Hollow Plastic Practice Golf Balls for backyard, park, or small-space training. That keeps the decision tied to how the balls will be used rather than treating the four formats as interchangeable.
