Choosing golf clubs & club fitting usually means matching a shaft, head, or iron set to your swing. Here, however, the items being compared are disc golf drivers, so the useful decision is different: choose between a fairway-driver format and a distance-driver format, then narrow by described flight, plastic, and price. That distinction keeps a golf-club search from turning into the wrong kind of driver purchase.
Quick take
These are disc golf drivers rather than conventional golf clubs. The useful split is whether your throw calls for the fairway-driver description or distance-driver description; after that, compare the stated flight language, plastic, and price. The listed prices have a $10.00 absolute spread. Use the format first, then the described flight, then plastic and price.

Decision matrix
- Format: Axiom PROTON RHYTHM and Axiom FISSION RHYTHM are Fairway Driver entries. Axiom NEUTRON VANISH and STREAMLINE PROTON LIFT are Distance Driver entries.
- Described flight: The Rhythm descriptions cover first-driver and line-shaping use. Vanish is described as straight to understable depending on the thrower and wind, while Lift is described as understable with a slight dome intended to produce a straight flight.
- Plastic: Proton appears on the Axiom PROTON RHYTHM and STREAMLINE PROTON LIFT. Fission identifies the Axiom FISSION RHYTHM, and Neutron identifies the Axiom NEUTRON VANISH.
- Price focus: The full range is shown above, with the Streamline entry at the low end and the Fission Rhythm at the high end.
Product notes
Axiom PROTON RHYTHM
Axiom PROTON RHYTHM is the Proton version of the Rhythm, with listed speed 7, glide 5.5, turn -2, and fade 1. Its description gives it two clear jobs: a first driver or a line-shaping fairway driver. It also describes a laser-straight flight with a slight finish for lower-power players. That makes the named use case easy to match when a fairway-style disc is the goal. The trade-off is format: it is identified as a fairway driver rather than a distance driver. Choose it when Proton plastic and the Rhythm's first-driver or shaping description fit your search.
Axiom FISSION RHYTHM
Axiom FISSION RHYTHM keeps the Rhythm's listed fairway-driver flight profile-speed 7, glide 5.5, turn -2, fade 1-but uses Fission plastic. The description presents it for a first-driver role or line shaping and says Fission enhances the Rhythm's natural flight qualities. That gives it a concrete place for shoppers who want the Rhythm description while selecting Fission rather than Proton. Its limitation is the highest listed price in the comparison. It also remains a fairway driver, so a distance-driver shopper should look to Vanish or Lift. The Fission Rhythm is the plastic-specific pick among the two Rhythm entries.
Axiom NEUTRON VANISH
Axiom NEUTRON VANISH is a Neutron distance driver with a description centered on understable flight. It says the disc can be straight to understable depending on the thrower and wind conditions, and lists speed 11, glide 5, turn -3, and fade 2. Choose it when the distance-driver format and that conditional flight description are more relevant than the Rhythm's fairway-driver role. The limitation is built into the same description: flight is expressly tied to thrower and wind conditions, so the wording does not promise one identical result for every throw. Neutron plastic is the defining material distinction here.
STREAMLINE PROTON LIFT
STREAMLINE PROTON LIFT is the lowest-priced entry and a Proton distance driver. Its description calls it understable, with a slight dome intended to produce a straight flight, and also mentions a comfortable rim size and slightly domed profile. Those concrete descriptors make the Lift a reasonable match for a shopper seeking the distance-driver format with a straight-flying description. The limitation for a fairway-driver search is clear: the identified type is Distance Driver, unlike both Rhythm entries. It also uses Proton plastic, so it does not share the Vanish's Neutron material designation.
Final recommendation by use case
- For a first driver or line-shaping fairway use case: Choose between Axiom PROTON RHYTHM and Axiom FISSION RHYTHM. Their shared Rhythm description points to the same role; Proton versus Fission is the concrete deciding attribute, with the Proton entry at $17.45 and the Fission entry at $21.95.
- For the conditional straight-to-understable distance-driver description: Axiom NEUTRON VANISH is the direct match because its description explicitly ties flight to the thrower and wind conditions.
- For the slight-dome, straight-flying distance-driver description: STREAMLINE PROTON LIFT is the clearer match, especially when the lowest listed price matters; it is priced at $11.95.
- If you intended conventional golf clubs, a golf iron set, a golf driver, or golf shaft fitting: These titles describe disc golf drivers, not those ball-golf categories.
