Choosing golf balls means resolving a practical split: do you want a new ball centered on control, a recycled mix with distance and soft feel, a used bulk pack, or an accessory that is not a playable ball at all? The four choices here cover all four lanes. Match condition and ball design to your purpose first, then use the listed prices to separate the close calls.

Decision matrix
- Condition first: New points to TaylorMade; Good - Refurbished points to Srixon; Used points to Callaway. The holder is also New, but belongs in the accessory lane.
- Ball versus accessory: The Srixon, Callaway, and TaylorMade choices are golf-ball purchases. The 3D Printed holder is a tan plastic, portable storage piece with a novelty design.
- Appearance: TaylorMade is White; Srixon is Multicolor; Callaway is Color Mix; the holder is Tan.
- Price spread: The range from $14 to $65.99 makes condition and purpose useful filters before comparing playing characteristics.
Product notes
Srixon Q Star Tour Matte Mix Golf Balls, Good Quality, 12 Pack
Choose the Srixon Q Star Tour when a multicolor matte mix and a soft-feel, distance-oriented round are the priority. Its high-resilience core, ultra-thin urethane cover, and greenside spin give the ball a specific playing profile. The limitation is condition: the balls are Good - Refurbished with an AAA letter grade and may show scuffs, blemishes, discoloration, smudged print, player markings, or logos, although they have no cuts. At $16.99, the decision focuses on whether refurbished appearance is acceptable rather than on buying a New ball.
Callaway Supersoft Matte Mix Used Golf Balls, Good Quality, 72 Count
Callaway Supersoft Matte Mix is the quantity-led choice for a golfer who wants a bulk format, mixed colors, and the listed Distance feature. The recycled-ball classification and Used condition distinguish it from the New TaylorMade purchase and the Good - Refurbished Srixon pack. The limitation is that its condition is explicitly Used, so surface appearance is part of the trade-off. At $58.65, it costs more than Srixon's $16.99; the reason to move up is the larger pack format and the Distance feature, not a New-ball condition.
New TaylorMade Tour Response Golf Balls 2 Dozen Urethane Golf Balls
TaylorMade Tour Response matches shoppers who want the New condition, 3-piece construction, Urethane material, Tour Preferred ball type, and Control feature in one golf-ball choice. Its description adds soft feel, fast ball speed, greenside control, and consistent flight. The limitation is the listed price: $65.99 is the highest figure in the comparison. Choose it when those new, tour-oriented attributes matter more than selecting a recycled or Used ball.
3D Printed Novelty Golf Ball Holder - "Ball Sack" Design - Holds 2 Golf Balls
Unlike the other three choices, the 3D Printed Novelty Golf Ball Holder is not a golf-ball purchase. It is a New, tan plastic holder with a portable design, a built-in loop, and room for two standard-size golf balls; the included balls may be various brands. That makes it a concrete fit for a gag gift, golf-bag hanging piece, or man-cave décor. The limitation is purpose: one holder cannot provide the ball construction, feel, or ball count a golfer is shopping for. At $14.00, its price is relevant to an accessory purchase, not to a playing-ball comparison.
Final recommendation by use case
- New golf-ball purchase: TaylorMade Tour Response.
- Refurbished matte mix: Srixon Q Star Tour.
- Used bulk pack: Callaway Supersoft.
- Novelty storage or a gag gift: 3D Printed Novelty Golf Ball Holder.
For a conventional round, decide between New and recycled or Used condition first. The holder is a separate accessory purchase, so that filter prevents comparing storage gear with balls intended for play.
