Choosing golf training, shoes & gloves often comes down to one practical question: is a lower listed price worth accepting pre-owned wear and a narrower fit decision? The Nike Air Comfort Waverly Last Black and White Leather Saddle Golf Shoes 183897 makes that choice fairly clear: you get classic styling and several course-focused details, but the condition and listed size deserve close attention.
Quick verdict
At $32, the Nike Air Comfort Waverly is a reasonable pick for a golfer who wants a traditional black-and-white leather saddle design, Nike Air Comfort technology, and a listed Gore-Tex lining in a pre-owned pair. The deciding factors are the 11.5 W size, minor leather creasing, wear on the golf spikes, and dirt or debris on the soles. This is a condition-conscious purchase rather than a new-shoe choice.
Who it suits
This pair fits shoppers who specifically like two-tone saddle styling and can use the listed 11.5 W size. The lace-up closure gives the design a familiar golf-shoe format, while the description identifies plastic cleats and moderate cushioning. It also suits someone who is comfortable with a gently used pair and does not require the presentation of an original box.
If your priority is a visibly fresh upper or unworn spikes, the documented creasing and wear make the trade-off more significant. The price is straightforward, but the condition should remain part of the buying decision.
Product note
Nike Air Comfort Waverly Last Black and White Leather Saddle Golf Shoes 183897
The clearest reason to choose this pair is its specific combination of classic black-and-white leather saddle styling, Nike Air Comfort technology, and Gore-Tex lining. The leather is described as intact, with no cracking or separation, which gives the condition assessment a useful positive detail.
The limitation is equally concrete: this is pre-owned footwear with minor creasing on the leather upper, wear on the golf spikes, and some dirt and debris on the soles. The listed 11.5 W fit also makes sizing a central part of the decision, and no original box is included.
What stands out from the listed details
The design is more distinctive than a plain single-color golf shoe. Black-and-white leather, logo accents, and the saddle profile create a clearly defined look. The Gore-Tex lining and Nike Air Comfort technology add recognizable construction details without requiring a promise about performance beyond what is described.
The intact leather matters because the wear is presented as creasing and spike use rather than cracking or separation. That distinction may help a shopper decide whether the used condition is acceptable for the intended role.
Meaningful trade-offs
The biggest trade-off is between the $32 price and the visible signs of use. Minor creasing may be acceptable to one golfer, while worn spikes and dirty soles may matter more to another. The moderate cushioning level is also listed plainly, so shoppers looking for a different cushioning feel should not assume this pair will match it.
Bottom line
Choose the Nike Air Comfort Waverly Golf Shoes 183897 if the 11.5 W size, classic leather saddle appearance, Gore-Tex lining, and $32 price align with your priorities. The documented wear, used spikes, sole debris, and missing box are the reasons to be selective. For a shopper comfortable with those specifics, this pair offers a clearly styled golf shoe without an inflated decision based on unconfirmed performance claims.
